How to Install GSE Smart IPTV

On iPhone / iPad

1. Open the App Store
2. Search for "GSE Smart IPTV"
3. Tap Get to install

Method 1: M3U URL

1. Open GSE Smart IPTV
2. Tap Remote Playlists (or the + button)
3. Select Add M3U URL
4. Enter a playlist name
5. Paste your M3U URL
6. Tap Add — channels load automatically

Method 2: Xtream Codes API

1. Open GSE Smart IPTV
2. Tap Xtream Codes API
3. Enter a playlist name
4. Enter your Server URL, Username, and Password
5. Tap Add — GSE fetches channels, VOD, and series automatically

Method 3: Local M3U File

1. Save your M3U file to your iPhone/iPad via Files app
2. In GSE, tap Local Playlists
3. Browse and select your M3U file
4. Channels load automatically

Configure EPG (Electronic Program Guide)

GSE Smart IPTV's automatic EPG matching is one of its best features. After adding your playlist, GSE attempts to match EPG data to your channels automatically.

1. Go to Settings → EPG Settings
2. Add your EPG URL if your provider supplies one
3. Enable Auto EPG Update
4. Set your correct timezone — wrong timezone is the most common EPG issue
5. Tap Reload EPG to force a refresh

Enable iCloud Sync

iCloud sync keeps your playlists, favorites, and settings consistent across your iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV without any manual export/import.

1. Go to Settings → iCloud Sync
2. Toggle it On
3. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID on all devices

Organize Channels and Favorites

• Long-press any channel to add it to Favorites
• Create custom Groups for sports, movies, news, etc.
• Hide channels you never watch to keep your list clean
• Add custom logos for channels missing artwork

Chromecast and AirPlay

To stream to a TV from your iPhone or iPad:

• AirPlay: Tap the AirPlay icon in the player and select your Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible TV
• Chromecast: Tap the Cast icon and select your Chromecast device

Troubleshooting

Channels not loading

Verify your M3U URL or Xtream Codes credentials are correct. Check your internet connection. Try refreshing the playlist from Settings → Playlists → Reload.

EPG not showing

Check your EPG URL is correct, verify your timezone setting, and tap Reload EPG. Some providers need 5-10 minutes for initial EPG sync.

Buffering

Test your internet speed — HD streaming needs at least 10 Mbps. On WiFi, use 5GHz over 2.4GHz. Close other apps using bandwidth.

iCloud sync not working

Confirm iCloud is enabled for GSE in iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → GSE Smart IPTV. Make sure you're on the same Apple ID on all devices.
