The PlaylistM3U Editorial Team
Every review, comparison, guide and fix on PlaylistM3U is researched, tested and overseen by the PlaylistM3U Editorial Team, and published under the byline of a named writer. This page explains who we are, what we cover, and how our editorial and testing standards work.
Who We Are
We are a small, independent editorial team focused entirely on IPTV and streaming technology. Together we have spent years installing, configuring and troubleshooting IPTV players, apps and providers across Fire TV, Android TV, iOS, smart TVs and desktop. Articles are published under the byline of the named writer who produced them, so responsibility for the content is clear and consistent.
Our Writers

What We Cover
- IPTV players and apps — hands-on reviews with an explicit 10-point rating.
- IPTV providers — provider selection criteria, pricing and red flags.
- M3U and Xtream Codes — playlist formats, editors, checkers and converters.
- Troubleshooting — buffering, freezing, EPG and connection problems.
- Region guides — channels and providers for the US, UK, Germany, France, Spain and more.
How We Work
We follow the same process for every page so that our conclusions are consistent and repeatable:
- Research: we start from primary sources — the apps and providers themselves, official documentation and our own testing notes.
- Hands-on testing: where a product can be installed, we install it, load real playlists and use it on real devices before writing.
- Writing: we explain what we found in plain language, including the limitations and the cases where a product is a poor fit.
- Review: articles are checked for accuracy, broken links and out-of-date versions before publishing.
- Updates: we revisit and re-date articles as apps and services change.

Editorial Independence
Our editorial conclusions are reached independently of any commercial relationship. PlaylistM3U is an affiliate partner of two IPTV providers (StrongIPTV and FavIPTV); every page that links them carries a visible affiliate disclosure. Affiliate status never changes a score, and we publish negative findings about providers and apps, including ones we link to. We do not sell, host or operate any IPTV service.
